In 2011, Fábricas Lusitana wished to set up and communicate the first national online grocery store making deliveries worldwide. The tight budget was one of the constraints presented in the briefing presentation. The second was the time for development.

The most important results achieved was undoubtedly the level of interest triggered with the large number of visits essentially driving the important sales volume achieved by our Client.

Another result was winning the Mercury Prize for the best online commerce project of the year; a prize that certainly validated the work done.

Technological platform

We developed a solution incorporating a custom-designed platform that allows for the daily updating of all contents and integrates into the company's stock and invoicing solutions. As this project spanned such a very broad scope, extra care was paid to the usability of all its functions.

The inclusion of different payment methods also represents one of the strengths of this ambitious e-commerce project.

The site works in five languages and is fully optimised in terms of SEO, viewing platforms and natural content sharing with social networks.

Conscientes da importância da partilha e das recomendações para um projeto com estas caraterísticas, desenvolvemos no Facebook, para além de outras dinâmicas, uma réplica de loja em partilha direta com o site e que permite ao visitante visualizar o conteúdo do site na rede social.
Criámos também campanhas de angariação de likes que se traduziram num número interessante e interativo de seguidores.
