The Choices Programme (O Programa Escolhas) (a national programme that promotes social inclusion among children and young people) and the Juvemedia Association developed the Ship of Choices project that took 113 young people from all over the country, chosen for their good school and civic achievements, on a week-long voyage to Funchal.
Blue Line was asked to create a brand image that had to be dynamic and of course linked to the topic. We were also asked to develop the associated iconography, promotional, communication and merchandising pieces.
ESG Programa Escolhas
Create a new kind of image, which was striking and highlighted the great adventure to be had aboard the boat, an image that naturally gave rise to a wide range range of communication pieces.
Drawing the adventure
The brand and the illustrations created were intended to represent the character of the project. Chromaticism and the dynamic sea represented this adventure in which the young, using their own talents, crossed the Atlantic in search of adventure.
A coherent image
The derivations and adaptations of the brand and its supporting elements in various pieces, including uniforms and merchandising, always maintained their fundamental elements, which enabled the creation of an integrated and easily recognisable line.At the end of the project, we were grateful to receive recognition from all the entities for the project's success, which led us the following year to create the image for the Train of Choices project.
